Purpose. This study is devoted to identifying lexical and representative features of Chinese food and people in the reviews of Russian tourists on China. Methodology. The study is based on the descriptive method, including observation, generalization, content analysis and comparison; continuous sampling method and analysis of lexical units. Results. This study presents the results of the analysis of lexical and representative features of Chinese food and people in the reviews of Russian tourists posted on Internet sites and social networks. The study presents criteria such as: name, taste, appearance, products for manufacturing, nutritional values of Chinese people within the framework of food, according to which Russian tourists evaluate Chinese food. Practical implications. The results of the study can be applied in teaching culture-oriented linguistic and cultural studies.
