(In)justificativas e (im)possibilidades do professor de educação física em adotar as lutas como unidade temática
Abstract
The theme of fights in thematic units of Physical Education in schools is not recurrent in class. Even if pedagogical guiding documents point to its use, few teachers take advantage. This research has as scope to identify the difficulties and impediments to use the fights as content in thematic units of physical education school, by teachers without training in martial arts. The specific objectives aim to understand how the teachers perceive the difficulties to insert of the fights; demonstrate which alternatives seek to overcome them; to verify if this body culture of movement has been presenting itself in the classes. The method adopted was qualitative in the descriptive/exploratory type, having as information collection mechanisms questionnaires applied to teachers and trainees, participants of the extension course. Of the 167 enrolled students, 19 participants answered the questionnaire. The analysis of the elements demonstrated that physical education teachers showed insecurity in dealing with a subject that does not dominate; who seek different options to overcome problems and also suggest the need for a greater debate on the subject of fights in the school context.
