Reproductive characterization of the Prochilodus Reticulatus species as a productive potential for the Catatumbo-Norte de Santander area

Abstract

The reproductive evaluation and the biological and morphometric characterization of the Prochilodus reticulatus species, endemic to the Catatumbo River as a priority in the research and extension programs of the Francisco de Paula Santander Ocaña University, allowed to establish repopulation, extension and technical assistance programs for fish farmers in the Catatumbo area.
