MUNDO DO TRABALHO, GÊNERO E POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS: o papel do feminismo estatal nessa relação

Abstract

The purpose of this text is to make some considerations about the role of state feminism in the relation between public policies, the working world and the gender issue. For this, a search is made among the feminist authors about what had been produced about this thematic. Does the presence of a gender perspec- tive in the decision-making areas of the State contribute to the implementation of policies capable of promoting changes in patterns of gender inequality, es- pecially in the working world? It is concluded that the presence of women in the State signals a paradigm shift, but slow and gradual. However, the field of public policies related to the working world is more resistant to the gender perspective, as some authors demonstrate.
