Universal joint torque tube assembly is used in flaperon transmission system of high lift system, and the study on material wear performance for the main function and fatigue life of aircraft can provide the certain guiding value for the anti-wear design of universal joints. The liquid metal friction and wear testing machine is used to measure the wear coefficient of the cross-shaft universal joint material. The numerical simulation model for friction and wear is established based on the Archard wear model for wear analysis. The results show that, on the basis of Archard wear model, the hardness increasing of the universal joint ear piece can help to improve the anti-wear performance of the universal joint. At 25 ℃, the full life wear clearance angle is relatively reduced by 24.5%, and at 400 ℃. The full life wear clearance angle is relatively reduced by 20.6%. The anti-wear performance of the universal joint is significantly improved.
