This article analyzes a territorial prospective process carried out in a rural area of central France. This process is characterized by the production of fictional films to imagine the future of the territory and by the mobilization of new professionals (designers and video artists). The article will show how the attention paid to the method redefines the objectives of the process: from the remobilization of local actors to the projection into a future to be made. He will address the issues related to interprofessional collaboration and the role and uses of visualization artifacts as a support for discussion by mobilizing the notion of intermediate object to qualify them. Finally, it will show how the use of video fiction contributes to the enrolment of local actors. By inviting them to play as if, FaV brings them to play the game of territorial development.
