Turkish is a language with rapid expansion and influence and it is taught within the country and abroad as a foreign language. Recent years studies on the teaching Turkish as foreign language indicate that requirements of learning “Business” Turkish are in increase. Thus, in the studies on Turkish as foreign language teaching there is necessity for development of special curriculum, preparation of the course books and materials suitable to the curriculum for the creation of the “Business Turkish” field. In the studies for the Business Turkish it is initially important the identification of necessary business branches. There are a lot of Turkish banks providing services abroad. These banks including Turkish citizens, strive to employ Turkish language speakers or require from their current personnel to learn Turkish. Due to the personnel’s limited time for attending the courses and learning Turkish in the level as much as being able to serve the clients, we have focused in “Banking” example. Thus we prepared sample curriculum and glossary, as well as specified the issues to focus on in the course books.
