Registro material, rituales funerarios y cristianización del territorio en la Vasconia de la Antigüedad Tardía
Abstract
Este trabajo pretende hacer una síntesis de los diferentes hallazgos arqueológicos que puedan aportar información sobre los rituales funerarios y el proceso de cristianización que se dio en el entorno vasco durante la Antigüedad Tardía. De este modo, y a la luz de los nuevos registros aparecidos en los últimos años, trataremos de contribuir al estudio del aún inconcluso debate sobre el desarrollo y asentamiento de la religión cristiana en este espacio geográfico. Horrela, eta azken urteetan agertutako erregistro berrien argitan, gure ekarpena egiten saiatuko gara esparru geografko horretako kristau-erlijioaren garapenari eta ezarpenari buruzko oraindik ere amaitu ez den debatea aztertzeko. This article tries to make a synthesis of the diferent archaeological fndings that could contribute to inform about funeral rituals and the process of christianization that happened in the Basque environment during the Late Antiquity. Thus, and as a result of the new appeared evidences in the last years, I will try to contribute to the study of the still incomplete discussion in the development and establishing of the Christian religion in this geographical space.
