Cartographie hydrogéomorphologique : émergence d'utilisations règlementaires en France
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to present the role of hydrogeomorphological mapping in the realization of PPRI (Plan de Prévention des Risques d'Inondation) in France. A total of 282 PPRI's reports were scrutinized and characterized using key variables. A multivariate analysis was performed with the intent to put forward spatial and temporal characteristics. The results show that there is a significant gap between territories that don't use hydrogeomorphological mapping at all, and others that "naturally" include it in their PPRI. At time when people wonder about the problems posed by the integration of the extreme flood event into flood management practices, hydrogeomorphological mapping could bring regulatory solutions.
