The «Equity Reconciliation» in Colombia

Abstract

The Conciliation in Equity is a legal figure of a self-composition nature, located within the context of Community Justice, and presents as a basic objective the concerted solution of the conflict between citizens, with the help of an impartial third party qualified as Conciliator in Equity. Such culture generates consequently reconstruction of the social fabric, easy access to justice, peaceful coexistence, citizen participation and consolidation of peace.
