Vibration characteristics analysis of roadheader rotary cutting process
Abstract
In order to solve the problem that the vibration generated during the excavation and cutting process of the roadheader, which accelerates the wear and tear of roadheader parts and reduces the service life. The dynamic equations are solved based on the multi-scale method, and the dynamic characteristics of cutting process under different working conditions are analyzed. The cutting process of roadheader was simulated using MATLAB. The results show that the vibration range of the rotary seat of the roadheader is −3.9 × 10−3rad to +3.9 × 10−3 rad, and the vibration of cutting arm fluctuates from −10.1 mm to +10.1 mm. When the primary resonance of roadheader is generated under the rotary cutting condition, increasing the system connection stiffness, increasing the system damping, and reasonably controlling the drive parameters and reducing the load excitation amplitude can reduce the harm caused by resonance to system.
