The article presents the dialogue between environmental law and biblical texts from the Old Testament of the Hebrew Bible. Dares to propose new environmental principles or reformulate some of the principles in this area, based on the Holy Bible, in the hope that they may contribute to the contemporary environmental law. Natural resources are widely listed in sacred scripture and must be preserved for present and future generations. It is irrefutable that the proposed topic is of paramount importance. This article is from a survey of the literature and qualitative type in Environmental Law and Religion Sciences area. We defined the following research problem: The environmental dimensions of biblical texts can contribute to the formation of principles within today's environmental law? Keywords: Principles.
