CoFe2O4 nanoparticles were prepared using the auto combustion citrate precursor method. The sample has been investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD) to investigate structural properties such as lattice constant and crystallite size. Particle size analyzer (PSA) and “transmission electron microscopy (TEM)” confirm that it has a nanostructure of the sample and a wide distribution in the nanoscale in which the values of their D(311) are included in this range. From the FTIR results, the sample exhibits the two distinct absorption bands known as v1 and v2, often attributed to the spinel lattice's tetrahedral (A-site) and octahedral (B-site), respectively. The magnetic behavior of the sample has been examined by vibrating the sample magnetometer (VSM). The hysteresis (M-H) loop is classified as hard magnetic ferrites. The thermal properties of the sample have been discussed. The sample's dc conductivity, mobility, and activation energy have been investigated. From the obtained results of the sample investigated properties, it can be concluded that the asprepared Co-ferrite sample is suitable for recording, high-frequency microwave devices, and thermoelectric applications.
