De la «violencia poética» al «sacrificio poético»

Abstract

This article aims to explain the two concepts that characterize the two stages of Angélica Liddell’s production in the 21st century: the «poetic violence» is related with politically oriented texts and shows that directly attack capitalist social organization and Western immigration management policies. Since 2008 until nowadays, however, Liddell conceive her work as an act of «poetic sacrifice» whose ultimate function is to integrate the dark aspects of our «nature» into the identity of the human being without any political implication.
