Command in the Police – the concept of changes in the area of formation command

Abstract

Objectives The dynamic development of human civilization at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries unfortunately generates not only positive developments. So we need to constantly improve crisis management systems. The purpose of the research was to improve the police command system. Material and methods Both theoretical methods and empirical methods were used in the course of the research. The following research methods were used in the research: theoretical - analysis, synthesis, abstraction, analogy, deduction; empirical - observation, collection of opinions. Results The article presents the command in the Police, with particular emphasis on the rules of command applicable in the police. The article also describes the hierarchical nature of the Police, as an element that influences the functioning of the chain of command. Conclusions In the article the author systematized and described the issues of command in the Police. Finally, the author presents the proposed changes and amendments that, in his opinion, should be introduced in the system of command of the police formation.
