“Nós estamos aqui!”: Uma análise das reações negras, indígenas e populares aos cortes orçamentários nas universidades públicas através de cartazes de protesto
Abstract
The paper discusses the relation between the democratization of access to public universities and the budget cuts in this sector announced by Bolsonaro’s Government. We conducted a dialogical speech analysis of four posters wielded during the protests against the cuts, focusing on the enunciates regarding the entry and presence of students from lower classes, blacks and indigenous people in higher education. The posters reveal the impact of the admission of the latter, affirm their presence, demand permanence and indicate how the democratization of education is a danger for the current government.
