Menentukan Besar Anchorage Loss Gigi Molar Pertama Atas pada Model Studi
Abstract
Anchorage loss may frequently be found on the first upper molar during orthodontic treatment, especially while canines are retracted. There are several means used to determine whether anchorage loss has occurred, i.e. radiographically by cephalometric tracing, and clinically by measuring some point of references on the study model. There are many variables available on the study model used as point of references, i.e. anterior and posterior palatal raphe, the third medial rugae point, and mesial and distal points of the first molar. Use as points and lines references are the third medial rugae points and the line drawn between the anterior and posterior raphe point (the median palatal raphe line). THe linear measurement drawn from the mesial point of first molar and the thir medial rugae point perpendicular to the median palatal raphe line are utilized to determine the intensity meovement could be determined by measuring the angle of line drawn from mesial and distal point of the first molar to the median palatal raphe line.
