Research of the Micro-segment Gear Meshing Stiffness and the Influence Law of Initial Parameter
Abstract
The finite element method is used to investigate the varying mesh stiffness of microsegment gear(MSG),which is a new type of tooth profile gear.Comparative study by simulation shows that the varying mesh stiffness of MSG is superior to involute gear.Also,the influence law of MSG specific parameter on gear meshing stiffness is also unveiled.These findings could help support further parameter optimization and dynamics study of MSG.
