Experience of Archaeographical Description and Textological Analysis of the Handwritten Translation of Thog-med bka’-bcu (on the material of the 6 th chapter of Oülgurun dalai «The Sea of parables»)

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of archaeographical description and textological analysis of the translation of «The Sutra of Wise and Fool» ( ’Dzangs blun zhes-bya-ba theg-pa chen-po’i mdo ) performed by Kalmyk Buddhist monk Thog-med bka’-bcu (O. M. Dordjiyev) (1887–1980) from the Tibetan language and recorded in Oirat «Clear Script» ( todo bi č iq ). The article also provides the transliteration and Russian translation of the 6th chapter with comments.
