Presence of hermaphroditic flowers of Quercus rugosa (Fagaceae) in the Mexico state (Mexico)

Abstract

Hermaphroditic flowers of Quercus rugosa Née are reported for the first time from Xochitla Ecological Reserve (Tepotzotlán municipality, State of Mexico). Their floral structure is described and supporting photographs and illustrations are provided.
