After the events, during the final game of Coppa Italia between Napoli and Fiorentina, that led to the death of Ciro Esposito, who was a Napoli supporter, the Italian government issued a «decreto-stadi», an emergency law intended to address the problem of stadium violence. The reaction of the media to these events contributed to the creation of a scénarisation, orientating public opinion in relation to these events. In this way the stadium becomes a laboratory in which to experiment with techniques for controlling the population in the age of biopolitics.
