Suelos derivados de cenizas volcánicas y de ando y sus relaciones con el clima en el municipio de Uruapan, Michoacán

Abstract

The properties of some soil profiles collected in the municipality of Uruapan, area of the Sierra Tarasca, Michoacán, México, are reported. The genetics of the soil is related with climate and vegetation. The area is located in a transition zone between hot temperate and temperate climates, there is a small area with cool temperate climate. The climates are directly related with the complicated orography of the area.
