NONEQUILIBRIUM CURRENTS IN THIN-LAYER METAL-FERROELECTRIC-METAL SANDWICH STRUCTURE

Abstract

A thermoinduced nonequilibrium current is described in thin metal-ferroelectric-metal sandwich system. The thermal response value increases dramatically when one reduces the thickness of the crystal. Possible mechanisms of the phenomenon are discussed.
