Construction of metal endocrown for a short clinical second molar crown

Abstract

Key Clinical Message This case highlights where a metal endocrown was used as a novel technique. The metal endocrown showed promising outcomes during the 5‐year follow‐up, utilizing a resin base to preserve tissue and act as a stress breaker. This approach was used to preserve the tooth and avoid extraction or periodontal surgery.
