Functional Safety Support for the Specialized Computers with Combined Fault-Tolerance Based on the Checkpoints Technique

Abstract

The paper considers the issues of functional safety (reliability) support for the specialized computers with combined fault-tolerance. The combined fault-tolerance is analyzed; the criterion is reliable functioning probability. The system safety is supported by means of checkpoints. Each checkpoint is placed to all possible information outputs, and maximum reliability improvement is detected and fixed.
