Paramphistomum daubneyi Dinnik, 1962, is a trematode belonging to the Paramphistomidae family. The authors describe for the first time in Senegal a case of infestation by Paramphistomum daubneyi in cattle. The parasite was collected in the rumen of cattle naturally infested. This presence brings the number of paramphistomes belonging to the Paramphistomidae family to two genera (Paramphistomum and Cotylophoron) and four species in Senegal (P. microbothrium, P. phillerouxi, P. daubneyi and C. cotylophorum).
