The Role of Underwriting Policy in Strengthening the Financial Position of Insurance Companies A field study in the general insurance companies for province of Annaba

Abstract

The study is concerned with knowing the role of the underwriting policy in enhancing the financial position of the general insurance companies in the state of Annaba. And analyze the results of the statistical program tests 19SPSS. This work reached a number of conclusions, including the existence of a linear correlation between the underwriting policy and the financial situation at a significant level (0.05). As a result of the results reached, several recommendations were made, most notably the adoption of the insurance companies’ underwriting policy on scientific analysis and sound technical considerations that target business results and not the volume of premiums or the number of clients.
