TERRITORIAL DIFFERENTIATION OF POPULATION QUALITY IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

Abstract

The continuous, sustainable and spatial development of a state is very important. This process could be realized within the active involvement of one of the most important driving forces of any state –“the population”. Taking into account current changes in society, when population numbers are steadily declining, the study of population quality becomes more and more important. The regional study of population quality allows the deduction of the strengths and weaknesses for each administrative-territorial unit, which will serve as a source of data and information in the elaboration of regional development policies of the country.
