Recovery of the buckets of the front loaders of transport in the nickel mining company in Cuba

Abstract

The intense and long-term exploitation of mining equipment causes wear, deterioration and breakdown of all its parts; Under Cuba's economic conditions, replacement by new equipment is not always feasible, that is why technical professionals Is requiered by the creative and inventive capacity. This work proposes a procedure for the replacement of damaged parts in transport front loaders dedicated to nickel mining. For this, actions of mechanical design and welding are interrelated. The floors and floors of the cubes of this equipment were replaced for their start-up in ore extraction and debris collection tasks, which contributes of obtaining favorable economic and import reductions.
