This work aims to show how the data obtained from the DSA815 spectrum analyzer can be processed. For example, the monitoring of a frequency band 91.3MHz -109.2MHz was chosen, but other frequency bands within the measurement range of the analyzer (9Hz - 1.5GHz) can also be selected. The paper presents two ways of acquiring and processing the information coming from the analyzer. The first way of acquisition is done with the help of the programs (Ultra Sigma and Ultra Spectrum), and the second way is done directly from the front panel of the device. Although the device can display certain parameters of the measured spectrum and save the image with the desired information, there are situations in which it is desired to find other parameters later. In addition, there is not always the time necessary to measure all the desired parameters. That is why the authors propose a solution by which these inconveniences can be eliminated. This solution consists of acquiring the data from the front panel of the analyzer in the form of CSV (comma-separated values) files and their subsequent processing with the MySQL (My- structured query language) program.
