“Hoje, líder de turma. Amanhã, líder organizacional”: um estudo sobre a oportunidade de desenvolvimento de competências aos graduandos em Administração
Abstract
Through scientific studies, which emphasize reflections and questions about the process to lead and through practical activities in the school environment, the academic administration of the course need to develop their skills as leaders. One of these practices, which may contribute to the education of students who are acting as class leader. So, the objective of this study was to identify the skills that Administration course class leaders of an institution of higher education must develop for his performance as leaders in the academic context and the labor market. Through of field research with focus groups, it was noticed that the resulting skills of the proposed managerial roles by Quinn et al. (2003), are inherent in the performance of the class leaders in the academic context. With the results it can be inferred that occur contributions from class leadership exercise for the formation of the Administration course student at IES researched, mainly with regard to the development of behavioral skills. The institution researched was guided to observe the practice of class leadership as an opportunity to develop students as effective leaders in organizational contexts.
