The present review article deals with education as a fundamental axis of civic education and social changes within democratic processes, having as axis of core action being from being. Therefore, the general objective is to understand education from the foundations of the balance of power for the development of citizenship and democracy. The study methodology comprise a documentary research assumed under a bibliographic design; furthermore, the content analysis technique is applied to understand the reality of study from education as a process of changes in the biopsychosocial-spiritual and ecological human being. It is concluded that the notions of power, education, citizenship and democracy, are central axes of training in being, reflected in each action of their daily lives.
