Prospects of acoustic sensor systems for antibiotic detection
Abstract
The use of antibacterial drugs, which leads to antibiotic resistance, contributes to the input of antibiotics and their degradation products in the environment and food. Therefore, the development of new methods to control antibacterials in food, pharmaceutical wastewater, and other objects is a topical research direction. Biosensor analysis methods have been actively developed recently and are an integral part of environmental monitoring. Acoustic systems are a promising direction in the design of antibiotic analysis methods. This article presents recent advances in the design of acoustic sensor systems for the analysis of antibiotics in aqueous solutions. It also discusses prospects for the further development of acoustic biosensors used to analyze antibacterial drugs.
