OUTSTANDING ORGANIZER OF THE SCIENCE OF CRIMINAL LAW (IN HONOR OF THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF VLADIMIR SERGEYEVICH COMMISSAROV)

Abstract

In the article devoted to the 70th anniversary of the scientist, the multifaceted activity of Vladimir Sergeyevich Komissarov on the organization of the science of criminal law is considered. The article highlights the main directions revealing his role in the organization of the science of criminal law in different official and unofficial positions: Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty of Law of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Chairman of the Section of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Educational and Methodological Association for Legal Education of Higher Educational Institutions of Russia, Chairman of the Russian Criminal Law Congress. The content, scope and effectiveness of Vladimir Sergeyevich Komissarov’s activities in the above areas characterize him as an outstanding organizer of the scienc e of criminal la w.
