Abstract
Abstract: This study aims to explore the role of training in improving the performance of teachers of English in primary schools. It is based on the importance of investing in human resources and equipping teachers with the skills and knowledge needed to meet changing educational and pedagogical challenges. Our research includes an evaluation of the training programs received by teachers and their impact on various aspects of their professional performance, such as the ability to use modern teaching strategies, effective interaction with learners and efficient classroom management. In addition, the study examines the impact of training on teachers' self-confidence and job satisfaction, as well as its role in improving learning outcomes. To test our hypotheses, we used a comprehensive methodology, collecting data through questionnaires and interviews with a sample of teachers of English in primary schools, while analyzing learners' performance and academic results. The study revealed that ongoing training significantly improves teachers' ability to deliver educational content in innovative and effective ways, with a positive effect on learning outcomes.
