An Overview of Several Newly Created or Adapted Diagnostic Tools for People with Communication Disorders

Abstract

The article presents four diagnostic tools for people with communication disorders. It includes The evaluation of pragmatic level of language in children with autism spectrum disorder; a "Sentence Comprehension Test" (Test porozumění větám) designed for children and adults with various diagnoses; "Aphasia Screening Test" (Afaziologický screeningový test) to determine the presence or absence of aphasia; and draft czech version of Intelligibility in Context Scale for children with speech sound disorders. A brief description of the diagnostic tools and some statistical results are provided for each of them.
