FIGURATIVE FEATURES OF THE “DEER” CONCEPT IN THE EVEN LANGUAGE WORLDVIEW

The article describes figurative features of the “Deer” concept in the Even language worldview, which has not been thoroughly studied so far. The aim of the study is to determine the figurative features of the “Deer” concept, identify stereotypes, symbols, figurative representations that are related to it, capable of testifying to the stability of this key concept in the Even linguoculture. Methods used in the work: the method of continuous sampling of illustrations from fiction, the paremiological fund of the Evens, bilingual dictionaries of the Even language, as well as from the author’s field materials; method of linguocultural analysis; introspective method; informants interviewing. Research results: identification and definition of figurative features of the “Deer” concept reflected in vocabulary, phraseology, paremiology of the Evens; establishing the universality and equivalence of this concept in the Even worldview. Practical implications: the results of the study can be used in lecture courses and special courses on the lexicology of the Even language, ethnolinguoculturology, cognitive linguistics and ethnolinguistics. The lexical material can be applied in comparative studies of the language worldview pf the Tungus-Manchu peoples as well as others.
