Research on dynamic measurement and coupling coordination of traditional industrial transformation under the background of zero waste cities in China
Abstract
Abstract China’s rapid economic development over the past 4 decades has led to a growing population and increasing urbanization levels, and the accompanying resource and environmental problems have become a key issue limiting the healthy, stable and sustainable development of China’s economy and society. In 2018, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China selected 11 cities and 5 regions as the pilot cities of zero waste cities to carry out the practice. Therefore, it is necessary to deeply understand the important role of traditional industries with high energy consumption and serious pollution in the city’s economy, environment and public satisfaction. In this study, the dialectical relationship between the construction of zero waste cities and the pollution emission of traditional industries is sorted out. The cointegration model was also used to calculate and analyze the relevant indicators of the first batch of pilot zero waste cities in China, and it was concluded that there is a co-integration relationship between the level of traditional industrial waste emission and the level of zero waste cities management. A quantitative study was conducted to determine the necessity between the ecological transformation of traditional industries and the construction of zero waste cities.
