Recent advances in nano material-based application of liver neoplasms

Abstract

Significant impacts have occurred around the world because of liver neoplasms, especially Hepatocellular Carcinoma(HCC). Nano material has been used in diagnosis and treatment of liver neoplasms and showed us the productive prospect. This paper summarizes the classical theoretical basis for the application of liver cancer based on nano materials, such as passive targeted conveying and active targeted conveying. Then we review the detailed application directions of nano materials in recent years, and discusses the corresponding conditions of nano particles in detail. Finally, we introduced some hopeful derection of nano materials in liver neoplasm such as oligonucleotide-therapy carrier and nano particles therapy.
