The Evolution of Rugby: from a Violent Sport into a Regulated one

Abstract

After it’s birth in England in 1823 rugby haschanged it’s appearance from a violent sportto a quite controlled and regulated one. Themost important rule changes that have contributedto a reduction of the injuries are described.
