Key Clinical Message Giant cell arteritis (GCA) is an inflammatory vasculitis that affects larger blood vessels, like the temporal arteries and the aorta. It is systemic and tends to affect individuals over 50. Common symptoms include headache, jaw pain provoked by chewing, and fever. We present an interesting case of a GCA variant.
