The soundtrack of French TV programs based on preexisting music is part of the daily musicalization. It suggests that consideration be given to practices and uses that are different from those traditionally observed in music and television research. This article questions the reception of musicalized images from the traces left by viewers from the 1950s to nowadays. It is based on the thematic and discursive analysis of the tweets broadcast during the French TV show Les Reines du shopping (M6). The results are compared to letters to editors, discussion groups or specialized websites. They reveal that comments on television music has been going on for nearly 70 years. Whereas, changes can be observed linked to the proliferation of digital devices in our societies.
