Abstract

The desire to possess power has always been an integral part of public life, in fact – one of the engines of human progress. The range of methods used and the methods of power struggle are very different – from palace intrigues and machinations during elections to military coups, insurrections and brutal civil wars, and the consequences of such political excesses are for the most part destructive, leading to a deterioration in the socioeconomic situation of Country and its citizens. This article is aimed at considering extremely topical issues related to the essence of power methods of seizing power and their comparative characteristics.
