Process Technology for Phosphoric Acid Production in Saudi Arabia

Abstract

The development of phosphate fertilizer and the phosphoric acid industries are expected in Saudi Arabia in the near future. The article presents an overview of different process technologies that may be used for phosphoric acid production. Potentialities as well as limitations of conventional and non-conventional techniques are presented to constitute the basis for the process evaluation and selection.
