Dynamiques diasporadiques des Chinois de Marseille d’après leurs récits de vie

Abstract

This article presents life narrative of differents Chinese of Marseilles. These life narratives are collected in interviews with Chineses migrants who come from different part of China and arrived in different periods of time in Marseille. Throught this life story, the aim is to show the evolution of the Chinese community in Marseille. This paper propose a contemporary look at this community which was not much explored in the past. Since early 2000, this diaspora is more and more important. If, until now, Chineses from Southeast Asia, Madagascar, Réunion, Hong Kong and from some China’s major cities were a majority, by now, Chineses from Zhejiang province are the most numerous and they an important role in downtown.
