The induced auditory loss for the noise (PAIR) is one of the illnesses of the work most common in our way. The professionals of Odontologia work in environments with high level of noise, therefore, they are passable to present PAIR. The objective of this study was to evaluate the The population of this study was composed by a total of 30 dentist surgeon who act more than have three years in the profession, with maximum age of 45 years. All the participants had been submitted to the following procedures: anamnese, meatoscopia, ATL, logoaudiometria and imitanciometria. The results had shown that 27% of the odontólogos had presented humming complaint, to 30% of sleeplessness and 37% migraine. How much to the results of ATL, 17% they had presented auditory alterations in the high frequencies, that is, 3 and/or 4 and/or 6 kHz. The findings justify the necessity of realization of a periodic audio metrical exam and the use of the auricular protectors for maintain auditory health and reduce the associated symptoms.
