The Role Of Student Training In Assessing The Quality Of Web Documents

Abstract

Abstract: This study focuses on research methodology and has two main objectives. The first objective is to enhance the skills of French master's students in analyzing and evaluating online information. The second objective is to assess the impact of the training provided to M2 language sciences students on their ability to judge the quality of web documents. To achieve this, we started by using a questionnaire to gather information on the students' computer and internet usage. Then, we offered 6-week training on web information research to the M2 language sciences students. The results show that this training provided the students with the necessary basic knowledge to conduct effective information research on the web and critically evaluate electronic documents.
