Competences of Early Education Teachers Working with Disabled Children in General Education Setting
Abstract
The authors discuss professional competences of early education teachers working with disabled children in standard schools. The results of research conducted on a group of teachers in the area of communicative, creative, information technology cooperation as well as praxeological competences are introduced. Inclusive education still constitutes a challenge not only for standard school communities but also for higher education institutions, which are responsible for educating teachers for all types of schools. From the perspective of a disabled learner, who frequently needs to make a greater effort in the process of learning, the beginning of the education process and early experiences are of crucial importance.
