A construção do aprendizado no Sistema de Saúde: visão dos acadêmicos de medicina
Abstract
This paper is an experience report of the Integration Program in Family Health Strategy (PIESF) of UniEVANGÉLICA's Medical School, conducted by the students who attended the program between 2008 and 2011. The aim of this study was to introduce the PIESF according to the academics perception of the three study blocks that integrate the course, founded on the problematization methodology. This essay was based on portfolios records from the first to the sixth period and on data stored in the seventh and the eighth period online discussion group. Four years in this program provided the students experiences that exceed the theoretical field and enabled practical experiences earned through contact with the community. The study shows that the PIESF achieves broader goals than it is implied by its meaning by promoting the introduction of students into different levels of health care, increasing the academics knowledge on the Brazilian health system and training professionals endowed with a critical vision that may contribute to improving the existing system.
