SYNTHESIS OF THE NEW 6-R-1,2-DIHYDROQUINOLINE-2-ONE

Abstract

Heterocyclization reaction of 2-chloroacetylamino-benzophenones, either with electron-donating, or electron-withdrawn substituents in the 5 position, with sodium nitrite in DMF or DMSO medium brings to new 6-substituted l,2-dihydroquinoline-2-ones, the potential biologically active compounds.
